Owlets Nursery class is led by Miss Taylor our Nursery Nurse and overseen by the Early Years Reception Teacher Mrs Black. The children in Owlets class are aged 3-4 years and we have one intake of children at the start of the autumn term in September. The children can attend Owlets in the year that they are four. The morning starts at 08:50am and pick up is 11:50 -12:00pm.
In Owlets class we have lots of fun through child centred learning and adult directed group work each day. We have access to an outdoor classroom which has lots of toys and exciting objects for the children to use. We have trikes for the children to use and even our very own mud kitchen! We are also very lucky and have fantastic ICT equipment that the children have independent access to.
Each half-term we have a different topic and the children's work is displayed on the boards in the Owlets classroom throughout the year. Miss Taylor sends out a newsletter at the start of each half term with information about our topic. The children participate in special events and with Reception and the rest of the school such as Harvest Festival, Christmas, Easter and Sports Day.
